I am so sorry to hear about your loss. How are the kids? I remember when I was around Sophie's age I lost my pet goose. I was devistated. He was my pal.

Oh thats so sad. Please tell the kids that my kids were very sad to hear this news. I know that you all loved Charlie a great deal.

Thanks everyone...Sam and Sophie both shed some heartfelt tears the morning that we found him...curled up asleep in his cage. We knew it was coming, though so we had been preparing them for it. He was probably close to three years old and he was showing his age and had been struggling with his eyes and other ailments. I was actually relieved to see the little sweetheart no longer in pain. Now he's a free spirit and can scitter here and there and everywhere (:
How sad... :(
