Thankful Thursday: 9 years

I just have to add that I am so thankful for 9 years with this guy. Being his mom has been a trip. He's the one I mark my mommy years with...my first baby and my one and only son. I could go on and on about how smart and sensitive this kid is and how proud I am of him. I'm just really glad to be on the receiving end of so much charm, wit, silliness and wisdom in the form of Sam. Happy Birthday, Samuel J.!

Wow.. Samuel - you are nine?!?! I can't believe it. I remember the day you were born. I remember trying to cycle through foot high snow to visit you in hospital. It certainly doesn't seem nine years ago! Time flies!
Happy birthday!

What a dedicated friend to try and cycle through a foot of snow! That really did mean a lot to me that you came to see him...I had forgotten all the snow you had to go through. And the same hospital Nata was born in. Good memories, Ros.

He was the first newborn baby I had seen in years and years! It was worth it!

He was also the first person to call me 'Joopajoob'!
Remember? 'Hi Joopajoob!'

By the way, my kids wanted me to ask you where Ruby was when you took that photo lol

LOL...that is so funny! I had forgotten about "Joopajoob" Thanks for the good laugh :)

Ya know, honestly, I haven't a clue where Ruby was when this was taken...up to some sort of mischief no doubt. Probably stealing frosted mini-wheats out of the cupboard for a quick snack.
